Transfer: I’m going no where – Victor Boniface rules out Leverkusen exit

Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bayer Leverkusen’s  forward, Victor Boniface, has dismissed speculations of departing from the club amidst interest from various top European teams, PUNCH reports.

Despite links with clubs such as West Ham, Napoli, and Newcastle United this summer, the Nigerian striker remains committed to Leverkusen.

He expressed his dedication to contributing to the club’s ongoing success on the field.

Xabi Alonso’s side secured their first German title with five games to spare but are aiming for the first unbeaten campaign in Bundesliga history – and remain on  course with three games left.

“My current focus is solely on Leverkusen, striving to aid the team in achieving further milestones,” Boniface affirmed to AFP.

Following Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga triumph, where they became the first team since Borussia Dortmund in 2011/12 to dethrone Bayern Munich, thus securing a spot in the upcoming UEFA Champions League, Boniface eagerly anticipates representing the club in the prestigious competition.

“It will undoubtedly stand as one of my proudest moments ever,” he said.

Instrumental to Leverkusen’s undefeated streak this season, Boniface, 23, has been pivotal in maintaining the team’s impressive form.
