The reports about veteran actors Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’ and Yinka Quadri not being on good terms for years without making it public have left people talking.

Comedian SeyiLaw’s reminiscence of witnessing Ogogo and Yinka Quadri’s rise to fame in Ebute Metta evokes a sense of shared history and community

Comedian SeyiLaw while reacting, he wrote “I remember Yinka Quadri and Taiwo Hassan growing up in Ebute Metta. We used to run from Jebba Street, where we fetched water at Iya Ibeji’s to catch a glimpse of them at Odunfa Street. We adored their friendship. Thank God, Baba Ajobiewe reconciled them”.

“The memories from Ebute Metta were sweet. Baba Suwe’s office was at Bola Street then. I remember the time they showed our house at Abeokuta Street in a movie as somebody’s house, but a different interior.  I was shocked. We didn’t know that could be done then”.

“Ebute Metta was everything then. I can’t wait to visit and relive the good memories”.

A Twitter user @GeeKinqest_ wrote “No one would have guessed, there was any form of issue between this two until tonight when Ajobiewe reconciled them. It’s even funnier when you look at it from the point of view that Taiwo Hassan and Yinka Quadri works in the same office everyday”.
