“You are backbones of our healthcare” P.S Lagos PHCB, Dr. Mustafa hails Nurses on International Nurses Week

In commemoration of International Nurses Week, the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board is proud to express its deepest gratitude and appreciation to all nurses serving under the board and beyond.

“Our nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system, providing constant care and hope to countless patients,” said Dr. Akinwunmi Mustafa, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board. “Their dedication, compassion, and expertise are truly unparalleled, and we are honored to celebrate their extraordinary contributions this week.”

Throughout International Nurses Week, the board recognizes the tireless efforts of nurses who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional care, provide emotional support, and serve as educators and advocates for patients and their families.

“We are proud to acknowledge the vital role our nurses play in building a stronger, healthier future for all,” added Dr. Mustafa. “Together, we will continue to strengthen our healthcare system and improve the lives of those we serve.”
