Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo, has faced backlash from Nigerians after releasing a list of his achievements in his first 100 days in office, which included meetings with high-profile individuals.
The list, posted on social media, categorized achievements under governance, agriculture, education, healthcare, and general information.
However, many have criticized the list, particularly the inclusion of meetings with the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, and the Progressive Governors Forum, as well as a courtesy visit from a local community, as notable achievements.
Ododo, who was sworn in on January 27, 2024, also listed his participation in a joint meeting with other governors and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, as an achievement.
The list was captioned, “We will continue to do more for the good people of Kogi State. God Bless Kogi State. God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
Many have expressed disappointment and outrage, questioning the substance and impact of these “achievements” on the people of Kogi State.
