Singer Portable’s arrest on May 14 turned into an action movie scene as he attempted to escape from the police by jumping a gate.

The dramatic moment was captured on video, showing the singer scaling the gate in a desperate bid for freedom.

The arrest was made by the Lagos State Police Command following a petition from a car dealer who alleged that Portable had failed to pay the balance for a G-Wagon worth N27 million. The singer had made a down payment and taken the vehicle, promising to pay the remaining balance, but failed to do so.

When the police arrived to arrest Portable, he attempted to flee the scene by jumping the gate. However, his Spider-Man-like move was short-lived as he was quickly apprehended by the police and taken into custody. The spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest, stating that Portable is currently in their custody.

This another controversy for the singer, who has been in the news for various reasons in the past. Despite his efforts to escape, Portable will now face the consequences of his actions.
