Why I’m not mature enough to have kids – Burnaboy reveals

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, who is known professionally as Burnaboy has revealed why he is yet to have kids.

In a recent live video on Instagram, the African Giant shared his thoughts on parenthood, stating that his current lifestyle would not allow him to be the present and loving parent he wants to be. 

Burnaboy expressed his admiration for the love and care his own parents have shown him, and he wants to be able to replicate that same level of devotion to his future children.

Until he feels stable and capable of providing the same level of love and support, Burnaboy has decided to hold off on starting a family. 

African Giant shared his thoughts on parenthood, stating, “I can’t have kids yet because I can’t be there for them right now. I can’t give love to any child right now because of my lifestyle. Have you seen the way my mom loves me, have you seen the way my dad loves and takes care of me? Until I am stable and able to love my kids the same way my parents do, then I will give birth to a child.”

His words serve as a reminder that parenthood is a significant responsibility and should not be taken lightly. 

Burnaboy’s honesty and self-reflection are a breath of fresh air in the entertainment industry, and his fans eagerly await the day he becomes a father.
