Nigerian singer and songwriter Mayorkun has expressed his outrage and hurt over the false accusations made by Nicki Da Barbie, who is currently remanded in prison.
Despite the ongoing trial, Mayorkun has declared that he will press full charges against Nicki Da Barbie for her damaging allegations.
Mayorkun took to his verified social media handle to express his frustration, stating that he has never met Nicki Da Barbie in real life and is still yet to understand why she would make such serious accusations against him.
He emphasized that he will not listen to anyone’s opinion and will see the charges through, even though Nicki Da Barbie is currently in prison on unrelated charges.
In his words “I have never met Nickie Da Barbie in real life, and she accused me of being a ritualist and putting something in her drink. Till this very moment, I have still never seen her with my eyes. How else can I prove that I am innocent?”
Mayorkun lamented on his verified X handle. “I will not listen to anyone’s opinion; I will press full charges on Nicki Da Barbie, even though I am aware she is remanded in prison at the moment and not even on my own charges yet.”
