A train traveling from Kaduna State to Abuja derailed at Jere, Kaduna, on May 26, leaving dozens of passengers stranded.
The train, which departed Kaduna at 8:05 a.m., went off the tracks about an hour later, with three carriages affected.
Fortunately, security operatives, including the Nigeria Police and Army, quickly responded to the incident, offering support and assistance to the passengers.
According to eyewitness @lovelyn_jacob, “The situation was brought under control by the technicians who quickly disengaged the affected part and realigned it.”
The eyewitness commended the efforts of the security operatives, particularly the Nigerian Army, who swiftly appeared on the scene to aid the policemen attached to the train.
“God bless the Nigerian Army (NA) and the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) for making its citizens feel safe in these crucial times. Don’t forget to pray for a soldier today. @3Star_GOD Thank y’all for your service.”
As @lovelyn_jacob aptly stated, “Me, I want to see the Army!” and the Army came, demonstrating the reliability and efficiency of the security forces in times of need.
