Pick-pocket: Miscreants in Ikeja Under Bridge Raids – Tokunbo Wahab

In a bold move to curb the menace of pick-pocketing and other social vices, the Lagos State Ministry of Environment, led by Commissioner Tokunbo Wahab, carried out a successful raid under the bridge opposite Ayinke House, Ikeja.

According to the Commissioner via his X (formerly Twitter) handle said, the operation was prompted by a tip-off received on a radio broadcast earlier today.

The enforcement team apprehended 9 miscreants who had been terrorizing innocent citizens, dispossessing them of their valuables, and perpetuating other social vices.

The Commissioner reiterated the state government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of residents and visitors alike.

The apprehended miscreants will face the full wrath of the law, serving as a deterrent to others.
